AIO Holiday Networking Event

This week Angel Investors Ontario, our group that fosters Angel group success with information and educational tools, held their annual general meeting and Holiday Networking event in Toronto at the Albany Club.

The numbers are in! In 2018/29 Ontario’s Angels invested over $65 million into 190+ companies, creating over 1400 jobs. Their Annual Report contains more on success stories and milestone.

 

The social event was a great opportunity to connect with ecosystem friends and partners and celebrate a year of success. Equation Angels regional partners were also in full attendance and our joint venture highlighted as one of the notable achievements this year – creating Canada’s second largest Angel group.

The 2019 icing on the cake though for SWO Angels members was the sale of’ their portfolio investee Race Roster, announced last month. This was a terrific achievement and the financial culmination of our mission to help grow innovative job and wealth creating ventures in our ecosystem.
